Terms of service

These are the working rules for a custom order at Rhodes Printing, doing business as CrispyPrint. They cover how a job starts, how long it takes, what we are responsible for and what you are. Placing an order means you agree to them. Last updated September 7, 2026.

Starting an order

Your order starts once you have approved the quote and approved the digital proof. Until both of those happen, nothing is ordered and nothing is scheduled.

Turnaround

Standard apparel orders run 5 to 7 business days from proof approval. That number moves with whatever is already in the queue, so if you have a date in mind, ask us for the current turnaround before you order rather than after.

Deadlines and rush orders

Tell us your due date up front. Asking for a date does not by itself make it a commitment. A deadline is only firm once we have written it on your work order.

If your date is tighter than our normal turnaround, a $150 rush fee puts your job ahead of everything else in the shop. Things outside our control, like a supplier shipping late or weather closing the roads, are not counted in the original estimate.

Minimums

  • Screen printing: 15 pieces per garment style and design.
  • Heat transfer: no minimum.

A style means the same garment with the same artwork. Individual deals on this site may carry their own higher minimum, and it is listed on the deal.

Artwork

We need high resolution artwork to print from. If what you have is not usable, we will redraw or clean it up for you. We do not charge art fees.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you send us. Copyright, trademarks and licensing on your artwork are your call, not ours.

Who owns the design

Artwork our team creates stays the property of Rhodes Printing, and we print it for you on anything you order from us. If you want to own a design outright and use it however you like, you can buy full rights for $300 per design.

Proofs and approval

You get a digital proof before anything goes on press. Look at all of it: spelling, artwork size, ink colors, print placement, the garment style and color, and the sizes you ordered. Once you approve it, that is what we print.

A proof on a screen will not match a printed shirt exactly for color, brightness or scale. If anything worries you, say so before you approve and we will work it out with you.

We are not responsible for mistakes that were on an approved proof. Changes asked for after approval will delay the job and may add cost. Sitting on a proof for more than a day or so will push your dates back too.

Ink colors and color matching

Our standard ink card covers most jobs. If your design needs an exact color, we can mix and match a PMS color for $120 per color. Without a paid PMS match we will get close, but we do not guarantee an exact match.

Placement, sizing and tolerances

Print size and placement are shown on your proof. Unless you ask for something specific, we use standard sizes and placements and size the art to fit the smallest garment in the run. If you want a particular size, give it to us in inches.

Shirts are loaded on the press by hand, so placement can vary by up to an inch. We avoid printing over collars and seams, because ink coverage and registration are unreliable there. On larger prints, art running near a sleeve seam or edge is normal and those pieces count as good goods.

Garments

We order your garments after the order is placed, so we cannot promise a style or color is in stock until it is. If something is out, we will bring you alternatives.

We do not manufacture the blanks and are not responsible for factory defects such as holes, ripped or loose seams, mislabeled sizes or color variation between dye lots. We look them over as we print, but we cannot inspect every garment. If an exact count matters, order about 5 percent extra. If fit or fabric matters, ask us for a sample before we produce.

Garments you supply

We will print on goods you bring us, but we cannot replace them if something goes wrong, because we did not buy them. Bring a few extras.

Changes and cancellations

Once an order is placed, everyone in the shop starts working on a piece of it, so changes are expensive. A change after the order is placed costs $25 per box of garments affected, plus whatever the change itself costs. Do not place the order until you are sure.

Cancelling an order carries a 20 percent restocking fee plus the cost of any work already done. Once production has started, or the garments have been handled in any way, the order cannot be cancelled.

Checking your order

Look your order over when you get it. You have 48 hours from pickup or delivery to tell us about a problem. After that we cannot take responsibility for it.

Reprints and claims

We stand behind our work. If we got something wrong, we will make it right, whether that is reprinting, discounting or refunding. If we replace or refund an order, the misprinted goods come back to the shop. We cannot cover pieces that were already sold or given away.

Online stores and the design studio

Orders placed through a team ordering site or the design studio are paid at checkout. Team store orders go into production after the store closes, so the store deadline is the deadline. If you miss it, call the shop and we will tell you what your options are.

Prices, payment and tax

Prices are quoted per job. If the details change, the price can change with them. Oklahoma sales tax is added unless you give us a valid exemption certificate.

These terms

We update this page as the shop changes, and the version posted here is the one in effect. Oklahoma law governs our work together.
